En Azua,-El Comité Municipal del Partido de la Liberación Dominicana, suspendió de esa organización, un dirigente que ha venido haciendo varias denuncias contra la actual gestión del alcalde municipal Rafael Hidalgo Fernández.
Se trata del licenciado Leonardo de Oleo, quien recibió el respaldo del diputado julio Brito, quien atreves de una rueda de prensa expreso su apoyo a este dirigente y a su familia.
Finalmente el legislador azuano critico que ese organismo se haya constituido en una pandilla para golpear a un dirigente al cual ese mismo organismo no lo llamo para escucharlo acerca de sus denuncias.
