Reinaldo Pared retira precandidatura; denuncia intervención del gobierno en favor de Gonzalo

Política.- El presidente del Senado de la República y secretario general del  Partido de la Liberación Dominicana (PLD) Reinaldo Pared Pérez anunció que retira sus aspiraciones a la candidatura presidencial, por “una clara intervención de una gran parte del gobierno” en favor de un precandidato.

El aspirante presidencial dijo que “con la campaña electoral que realiza este nuevo aspirante, se han violentado todas las formas de equidad y de justicia; se observa una clara intervención de una gran parte del gobierno, lo cual provoca un desequilibrio en el proceso que llevamos a cabo, que… afecta en lo más hondo nuestra dignidad”.

Aunque no lo menciona por su nombre, es obvio que alude al ministro de Obras Públicas renunciante, Gonzalo Castillo.

Pared Pérez dice que “basado en esa situación he decidido no participar en las primarias abiertas del PLD” programadas para el 6 de octubre, “pues las condiciones para competir por la candidatura presidencial han variado de forma injusta y de total parcialización.

Como Pared Pérez, ya presentó renuncia Carlos Amarante Baret, en términos parecidos, alegando que parte del Estado y las estructuras del gobierno están siendo utilizadas para favorecer a Gonzalo Castillo, lo que provoca un desequilibrio.

El presidente del Senado y secretario del PLD dice que pese a su retiro, “estaremos en las calles trabajando junto a los  precandidatos y precandidatas a cargos congresuales y municipales que nos respaldaron en nuestras aspiraciones presidenciales. Y desde el 6 de octubre próximo… vamos a acompañar al PLD para mantener a este valioso instrumento político dirigiendo a la nación dominicana.

Pared Pérez hizo un recuento de su trayectoria partidaria, de su presencia y contribución en el Congreso Nacional y deploró que después de un largo proceso en que intervino el presidente Danilo Medina en el cual se animó originalmente a un grupo de seis precandidatos, “de manera sorpresiva entró al escenario un nuevo actor, quien por más de un año estuvo montando su proyecto político utilizando como plataforma uno de los ministerio más importantes del Estado.”

El grupo de Danilo Medina había venido actuando coordinadamente para escoger un solo precandidato para enfrentar al ex presidente Leonel Fernández. Se prevé que desde hoy inicien un proceso de encuestas para determinar cuál tiene mayor aprobación popular y sobre esa base, generar la renuncia del resto.

Pero el retiro de Amarante Baret y ahora Pared Pérez sugiere que el grupo del Presidente entró a un proceso de agrietamiento al menos en este proceso. Habría que ver cómo el mismo influirá en el resultado final.
